I currently own an IPhone and honestly my only "gripe" is that I am unable to send and recieve picture text messages. I think The Instinct has a lot to live up to considering these other two comments. And I don't understand what the beginning paragraphs are talking about when they say IPhone bills are $120! My bill averages around $75 a month and I use my phone incessantly. The battery life isn't so bad, unless I am traveling long distances on the road (since i don't currently own a car charger.). Anywho, good luck sprint with your new phone.

I think rather than investing in new battery technology, mobile phone companies can keep their customers very happy by sticking with replaceable batteries. This is the iPhone user's biggest gripe, from what I hear. Will the Instinct have a replaceable battery?

I don't think there will be a 3g iphone out by June...I think the investors are way too optimistic in that estimate. The whole reason for no 3g on the iPhone was because the 3g chip STILL eats up too much power for battery life to be at par with what customers want. There is a 3g chip in the works that consumes less power but I would dare say we don't see one before Christmas. Also, what is the battery life on this sprint phone? If you are on "the fastest wireless network there is" and watching tv on it, I don't see the life being too long. I think the main focus for the iPhone and any other new phones should be alternatives to Lithium Ion batteries, or better lithium batteries that last longer with a higher load. Until then, phones and other mobile devices will be held back to minimal to moderate use of wireless services such as mobile TV and web browsing. Until then, keep that sprint phone close to a power outlet.
